Pilgrim Database - The Platform

Through their joint development, Zarándok Turizmusért Nonprofit Kft. and Permeo O.Z., in the framework of the Interreg VA Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Program ID SKHU / WETA / 1901 / 4.1 / 304, entitled “Innovative Pilgrimage Accessibility and Orientation Community Database and Data Collection” intend to strengthen cooperation between the two partner countries.
During 2020, the cooperating organizations submitted an application for the call for proposals SKHU / WETA / 1901 / of the application system of the Interreg SKHU Small Project Fund in the Western Border Region.
The submitted application received support, the parties carry out the undertaken tasks with 85% support.
It will start on 01/12/2020 and is scheduled to end on 31/08/2021.
Objectives of the project:
1. Providing a community data collection interface through an interface and an embeddable interface for professional and partner organizations, hiking information providers.
2. Implementation of a unified central information database for the accessibility and orientation of the Slovak - Hungarian pilgrimage route.
3. Free sharing of pilgrimage walkability and orientation data and a database with relevant professional organizations, which may be associations, forestries and municipalities that operate pilgrimage routes, as well as other non-governmental organizations.
4. Providing a free community data collection platform for related information services such as websites and mobile applications.
Tasks to be performed within the project:
1. - Marketing and communication, in which additional tasks to be performed include the creation of an online campaign and a user manual
- Promotional activities
- Dissemination events
2. System and database development Extension - fine tuning
3. Professional project management and project management and the provision of office supplies
