Pilgrim database - Using the system for pilgrims and tourists

In our previous article, we briefly presented the project tasks and the results of the development. In this article we present the use of the developed system from the point of view of tourists and pilgrims.

User authentication is not required to use the system.
Process for reporting an accessibility issue:
- The user clicks on the “map” button
- The user selects their location on the map - for mobile phone use, the system will automatically load the user's position (location must be enabled on the phone).
- POI icons on the map indicate previous reports.
a, If they don't see a report yet, they can click on the map to make a new report - click the "New Report" button
b, If they already have a report, they can use the “Report Information” button to confirm the previous report using the POI icon of the previous report.
- By pressing the button, the data of the previous report is displayed and the parameters of the new report can be entered.
a, The previous report can be confirmed by the user with the “Confirm” button and an additional comment can be added to make the report information more accurate.
b, During the report / clarification, a photo can also be uploaded, which can be taken with the user's phone.
- Saving the report:
a, For a new report, by clicking the "Submit" button
b, A new comment is available by clicking the "Submit Comment" button.
The system saves the reports with their parameters and by recording GIS data, the confirmed reports can be sent by the system administrators to the regional authorities.
Resolved issues are indicated by a change in the color of the POI icons. This way, users can see that as a result of their announcements the problems that arise are resolved.
The development can only be implemented in cross-border co-operation, within the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Co-operation Program small project ID SKHU / WETA / 1901 / 4.1 / 304, in which, in which Permeo Polgári Társulás (Permeo Civic Association) and Zarándok Turizmusért Nonprofit Kft., as cooperating partners, are working on a project entitled “Innovative Pilgrimage Accessibility and Orientation Community Database and Data Collection Platform”.
